Founder
Murray’s a Scot whose love of craft drinks began in fine cider before he moved to Copenhagen to train at Empirical Spirits as a distiller. His love of music and clubs heavily influences the names of our blends.
Diego
Operations
Diego is a skilled chef from Costa Rica who trained at Basque Culinary Center and Restaurant Oro Bianco before joining us back in 2021. He is equally happy in a kitchen or Berlin techno club.
Alejandro
R&D / Production
Ale is another talented Spanish chef in our team, who trained at Mugaritz and Alchemist — two of the world’s most pioneering kitchens. Outside of work, he has a love of old classic cars.
Ana Lia
Brand Ambassador
Ana Lia is an accomplished Peruvian beer sommelier who joined our team after managing Restaurant Barr in Copenhagen. She has an incredible passion for Belgian sour beers.
Emily
Marketing
Emily's a Scot who joined us from Fever-Tree as their Brand Manager. She is often found moving to Italo-disco, or as the night progresses, drum and bass.
Alex
Production
Alex is a Channel Islander who came to MURI from the Insight Cellars Brewery. He is the one big heavy metal fan in our team.
Emilie
Production
Emilie is a Dane in our production team. Outside of MURI she expertly makes delicious Korean sool (rice wine) for her company Yunguna.
Alessandro
Production
Alessandro is an Italian brewer in our production team. He is a passionate forager, botanist and cyclist.
