Taking Friday Bars to the gastronomic level

We’ve been thinking about how to share what we love and build a little community here in Copenhagen. And what better way than a Friday Bar, in true Danish spirit?

Friday Bars are a tradition across Denmark as co-workers come together at the end of the week to have a drink, wind down, and share some laughs.

So we thought we would open up the idea and invite everyone to the first MURI Friday Bar on Friday, November 21st, at our tasting room and HQ.

Non-alcoholic pairings: a masterclass

This will be a Friday Bar with a twist. We want you to leave with your taste buds tingled and with new gastronomic insights in your pocket. We’ve arranged a special talk on Liquid Gastronomy & Non-Alcoholic Pairings with our Founder, Murray, and Eva Baumgartner, Beverage Director at the newly opened (and fabulous) Restaurant ESSE in Copenhagen. We’ve been collaborating with Eva to develop their incredible non-alcoholic pairing menu and we will be exploring this creative partnership as well as trying the drinks we made together.

You’ll also get to take part in a guided Masterclass on the Art of Pairings, exploring balance, contrast, and flavor — and learning how to create pairings that elevate your dinners at home. We'll taste through 6 blends and accompanying bites together.
