MURI wins award for best non-alcoholic drink!

We are extremely proud to announce that MURI won the prize for best non-alcoholic drink at the prestigious 2025 Feinschmecker award gala in Hamburg last weekend. 

It was the 50th anniversary of the awards - held every year by Germany's premier gastronomy magazine - so it was a particular honour to receive the first ever prize they gave for "alkoholfreier wein." In an event with such prestige and heritage it was fantastic that so many people enjoyed tasting our drinks, which most definitely do not fit in with the normal rules and traditions!

Murray accepted the award on behalf of the team, and it's now sitting proudly in our tasting room! We stayed up well into the early hours pouring our blends for the 500 guests.

A top-class stage show kicked off an evening full of highlights: Star pianist Joja Wendt and presenter Inka Schneider led the event, composer Helmut Zerlett joined them on stage as a special guest, and top chef Nelson Müller and bestselling author Frank Schätzing, Wine Gourmet of the Year, spontaneously sang a birthday serenade to celebrate.

We hope this award will be the first of many!
